What is included for free?

Up to 3 saved connections, with SSH terminals, tabs, splits, SFTP transfers and remote text editing. Lifetime Full Access unlocks unlimited saved connections and connection export with one purchase.

How do I restore Full Access?

Open the purchase window from the bottom of the sidebar and select “Restore Purchases”. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.

Why is the purchase unavailable?

Check your internet connection and choose “Retry App Store”. If it continues, contact us with your app and macOS versions. You will not be charged until you confirm a purchase through Apple.

How do I transfer files?

Right-click a saved connection and open SFTP. Your Mac’s files appear on the left and the remote server on the right. Drag local files to the remote panel or use Upload. Right-click a remote file or folder to download it.

How does remote editing work?

Use Open or Open With on a remote text file. Keep the SFTP window open while editing. After saving in your editor, check for “Saved to server” before closing. If uploading fails, use Show Local Copy to recover your work.

Where is my data stored?

Connection profiles are stored on your Mac, and saved passwords are stored in Keychain. Shellary connects directly to your servers. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
